SEEFONT

Typography fascinates me. Whenever I browse fonts online, it’s cool to see how the design and visual arrangements of letters for print and digital media can produce so many contrastive effects. I’ve stashed a bevy of fonts online while thumbing away, hoping to chance upon captivating fonts to use on the site. But flipping through fonts on your computer offline is different story. I typed together a simple POSIX Shell script that shows you a preview of what the font looks like. It’s called seefont and it’s in the works right now. I’ll link to it as soon as I have a version that I’m happy with and that is somewhat usable.
