Trust your gut, but cleanse it often.

The calculs of regret is counterintuitive. You can only regret the past. Yet, by definition, the past cannot be changed.

Of what use is it, then, to regret things that you can’t undo? As a learning process, most likely.

You can look at regret as a signal that a past behaviour or action should be avoided in the future.

Keep in mind that you will only ever regret your actions if they contradict the ethics you value at the current moment.

Regret is relative.
